About the Photographer

Hi! My name is Kailey B. The B stands for Bugarin. But I just like B, and that’s all.

I’m a former first grade teacher, full-time photographer, and mom of two. I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina, and taught first grade before leaving the classroom to stay home with my first baby. Since then, I’ve grown my photography business while raising two little ones, specializing in families and motherhood.

I’m a big believer in letting kids be kids, spending as much time outside as possible, and creating photos that feel like the people in them. That same approach is what led me back to the classroom in a new way, through school photography.

One Less Thing on Your To-Do List

As a former educator, I know how much goes into keeping a school running. Schools deserve beautiful photos of the community they're creating, and families deserve photos of these years to cherish.

Picture Day shouldn't mean adding another project to your plate. I'll handle the details and parent communication from start to finish, so your school can enjoy the photos without having to manage the process.

We plan

We’ll meet in person to walk through Picture Day, choose the best location, and create a schedule that works for your school. I’ll provide everything you need to prepare families ahead of time.

I’ll take it from here. Every child gets a few relaxed minutes in front of the camera, with a mix of timeless portraits and natural expressions that let their personality shine.

Private Galleries

After Picture Day, each family receives access to a private online gallery where they can view their child’s portraits from home. They can order digital downloads and prints of their choice.

Families choose

Families choose the digital images and prints they love, with no obligation to purchase. Ordering and payment are handled directly through their private gallery.

FAQ

Is there a cost to the school?

No. There is no cost to the school to host Picture Day. Families receive their child’s portraits in a private online gallery and can choose whether they would like to purchase prints or digital images.

What does our school need to do?

Getting started is simple. Your school will provide a student roster, share the Picture Day registration information I provide with families, and help me choose a date and location that work for your school when we meet in person. I'll handle the rest!

What happens if a child is absent or needs a retake?

No worries! I’ll work with your school to schedule a retake day for any students who were absent or need another opportunity in front of the camera.

Do you provide extras like class photos or images for the school?

Yes! Class or group photos are available, and I can also provide the school with images for things like yearbooks, staff directories, or your website. We’ll talk through what your school needs when we plan Picture Day.

When can we schedule Picture Day?

Picture Day can be scheduled throughout the school year. Fall and spring are both great options, and we’ll work together to find a date that fits your school’s calendar.

Can I book these portraits outside of a school Picture Day?

Yes! Families can book a portrait session outside of a school’s Picture Day. Individual sessions do include a service fee, while portraits offered through a school’s Picture Day do not. If you’d love to see this offered at your child’s school, send me their contact information or connect us and I’d be happy to take it from there.
